Trolls or Trollkin

They go both by Trolls or Trollkin.

They are one of the Fae Species.

3000 years ago the average troll would grow 16 feet tall and live a thousand years.

Nowadays they rarely grow beyond 8 feet tall and few make it to a second century.

The shame at being lesser than their ancestors drives many Trolls to become mechanically enhanced either in the forgecities across the world or at the Blessed Anvil a sacred area in Lukurra Majoris where tithes of colour are offered up in return for cybernetic enhancement.

The colour decorated flesh of their ancestors are prized heirlooms to the fire juggling trolls in lower Lunamtagga.

Centaurs

The Centaurs were once the most numerous of all the Fae peoples of Ashen, until the Culling of Trees after which their numbers have declined.

Centaur culture is the foundation of the religion and culture of the Thrice Skinned Nomad tribes.

Centaurs have two hearts each considered to last 300 years, which presumably puts average life expectancy at 600 years.

Centaurs travel in nations, each nation has its own calendar which dictates how often they should visit Huashik, the Tree of Life. This can range from once a decade to once every two hundred years.

When they visit Huashik they provide tithes to the Corbin Larchmeisters who protect Huashik, this tithe includes members of their nation to join the Corbin Larchmeisters and live in service of the tree.

Angels

Angels have wings.

Bane, the father of civilisation who founded the first city "Bane's Folly" was an Angel.

Angels traditionally live in Aviaries, many of the existing ones can be found in the mountain ranges of the Qataqlysms but Angels are wary about giving out their locations.

Tokoyonokuni was the largest Aviary in the world built around the Spire of Heaven on the southern pole of Ashen. It was home to almost a third of the world's Angels when it was besieged and ultimately fell to be replaced by the forge city Ig'zost.

Historical estimates suggest anywhere between sixty and seventy per cent of all Angels spent at least a year fighting in the siege which lasted 700 years.

Humans

They're a mortal race. We know nothing to differentiate them from the humans of earth.
